My list...

Susan did one on her blog, now I'm doing one on mine.

List of things people do not know about me:
1. I am obsessive about my bookshelf. It is divided into three categories: books that I have read, books that I still need to read, and knitting/cookbooks/other references. Within the first two categories, the books are alphabetized by author. Within the last category, the books are organized by subject and then by size.
2. When I was in 3rd grade, I made it to the citywide spelling bee. However, I was incredibly shy, and misspelled my 1st word: hockey. This happened again at the school spelling bee in 7th grade, when I misspelled allergy. (This is really weird if you know me well enough to know that I'm a stickler for correct spelling.)
3. I have major second sock syndrome. That means that I am great at knitting the first of a pair of socks, but then after that I get bored of the pattern and move on to something else without finishing the pair.
4. When I'm in my room, my tv is almost always turned on to Fox News.
5. Back in the day, I used to hand code my own website. I'm talking back in the day as in when frames were still popular in HTML. (I did eventually get past that as web design advanced.) I want to design a layout for this blog...eventually. Maybe after finals.
6. Despite my weight, I am a Black Belt in Tae Kwon do, and I have run (well, mainly power walked) a half marathon.
7. My piano teacher would get frustrated with me because I loved to play my pieces faster than the appropriate tempo. She then decided to teach me to play the Tarantella, and it became one of my favorite pieces to play.
8. When I was 17, I got an internship at the San Francisco Public Defender's office.
9. Although I'm a Republican, I'm thrilled with the California Supreme Court's decision to overturn the ban on gay marriage.
10. It's a really good thing my desktop sucks, otherwise become a total PC gaming nerd.

You're right, I really need to update more. It'll be easier now that finals are over!! :D

And I love that you support the CA Supreme Court's decision, because I was very happy with that as well.
